Kenya is endowed with a wide range of mineral resources, some of which are already being explored and exploited by private companies. Most of the minerals still remain unexploited due to inadequate knowledge on their status, economic viability and appropriate mining technologies.

Already, an appropriate mineral prospecting and mining policy conducive to investment and Private Public Partnerships (PPP) in the mining sector is in place. The government has also recently made a statement to the effect that they will initiate an air-borne survey and mapping of mineral resources in the entire country. Therefore, opportunities exist in mineral exploitation, mining and value addition through direct or joint venture partnerships.

Our Chairman's Message.

"Africa is endowed with natural resources among them oil and gas, minerals, forests, land, lakes and rivers among others. These natural resources should be prudently managed with effective strategies and plans to maintain the balance between resource usage and conservation hence ensuring sustainable development. "
